Dear supporters of the Permaculture Research Tour,

Over a year now since I left Portugal to embark on a big study journey through Australia and the US. Just possible because of your support!

What an amazing journey so far. Time flies when you do what you love and this was the fastest and fullest year I’ve ever experienced.

I’ve collected a lot of valuable information during the past 12 months in Australia and will continue collecting for the next 3 months in America.

I’ve been working consistently to treat and organize all the information so that it can be of most benefit to all of you. And fortunately I’ve been counting with the support of the amazing pioneers I’ve been learning from. I am so grateful to all of them: Annemarie & Graham Brookman, David Holmgren & Su Dennett, Kat Lavers and Nik, Rosemary Morrow, Max Lindegger and Trudi, Peter and Kate Marshal, Robyn Francis and Robin Clayfield. So grateful for their time, enthusiasm and feedback!

At the moment I am staying with a friend, Sara Wuerstle, in San Francisco. Sara is a great permaculture designer and teacher, one of the most brilliant design minds I know. She has been contributing to this study since the beginning and will now help me organizing and formatting the information. It is such a gift to count with her!

During my time in the US I will visit various permaculture and sustainability projects and will intensively study 4 of them:

    OAEC, California - http://oaec.org/

The Bullock Brothers Homestead, Orca Island - http://www.permacultureportal.com/

The Permaculture Project, Wisconsin, Illinois - http://www.permacultureproject.com/

Doug Elliot, Yanna Fishman & Todd Elliot’s Homestead, North Carolina - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PeJFbC-_KI

I will return to Portugal in mid May and my pland is to spend a few months in retreat to finish the reports and booklet ;)

If you have any suggestion regarding what you are most interested in learning, from the projects or the people I’ve been studying, please let me know!

Once again, thank you so much for trusting me this study! I’m giving my best!

    With love and respect,

    Nice

    http://oaec.org/

    Bullock's Permaculture Homestead, Orca Island

    http://www.permacultureportal.com/

    The Permaculture Project, Wisconsin, Illinois

    http://www.permacultureproject.com/

Doug Elliot, Yanna Fishman & Todd Elliot Homestead, Carolina do Norte - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PeJFbC-_KI

    Nice
