EcoAvenir is an association that promotes permaculture in Normandy, France. Over the past four years we have transformed an abandoned ruin and land into a flourishing permaculture garden including a fledgling forest garden, and an eco-renovation of a timber-framed earth house. We are now working to increase the biodiversity of the edible landscape and to be off-grid. Ultimately we aim to create a learning centre where we can explore ways to achieve a low consumption lifestyle in respecting nature and one another.
To move forward we now require a couple of key things.
1. Our forest garden needs additional fruit trees.
2. In order to lower our dependance on fossil fuels we are keen to purchase some quality hand tools including a scythe and a grelinette (broad fork). Then we can retire the gas guzzling brush cutter for good.
This is what you are paying for:
1. 10 trees @ 30 euros each = 300 euros ($329)
2: Scythe = 85 euros ($96)
Grelinette = 118 euros ($124)
Total = 503 euros ($549)
